PADI Tec and Sidemount Instructor courses & Tec Diving Internships

If you are a PADI Instructor with a background in technical diving, then meet the challenge of teaching the PADI TecRec programs! Tec may be a niche activity, but it is also one of the fastest growing areas in scuba diving. Enroll in our PADI Tec Instructor courses or tec diving internships. To qualify as a PADI TecRec Instructor the most efficient method is to attend the PADI TecRec Instructor course for the Tec Deep/Trimix course and audit one course module. You can sit the theoretical exams under the supervision of our TecRec Instructor Trainer and save the time and expense of needing to do this at a PADI IE. As long as all other prerequisites have been met, you'll qualify to teach the PADI Tec Deep programs and if taking the Trimix Instructor course, also the PADI Trimix 65/Full trimix courses.

All our technical diver training can be offered in both backmount and sidemount configurations and for PADI Instructors with no technical experience, we can offer complete packages that train you as Tec Deep and (if desired) Trimix diver whilst simultaneously conducting the PADI Tec Deep Instructor course (and if desired the PADI Trimix Instructor course). Then, we can have you assist on subsequent Tec courses that we are running,so you get additional tec dives and class assist experience (necessary for your Instructor application). We can also offer a package of technical dives to credit towards the numbers needed at each level for the PADI Tec Deep Instructor and PADI trimix Instructor.  Please contact us if you are interested in a Tec diving internship.

We also wrote a sidemount distinctive specialty and had this approved by PADI, so you can also qualify to dive and teach recreational and technical courses in a sidemount configuration, either with our distinctive or PADI's own outline.

For IANTD divers and Instructors, we also offer IANTD Instructor training to Technical Diver level. These courses are scheduled upon demand.
